i see more and more young kids ages 13-19 with little gray hair. does any body why this is so?is it because of hair products like 360 wave grease or stress?

I think it is stress. So many parents expect their kids to be an over achiever in so many different things .They keep them too busy.

Grey hair has nothing to do with age, although it was and is mainly associated with the aging process. However hair greys simply because the pigment cells in the hair base at the roots (follicle) of the hair stop producing melanin (the same stuff that makes our skin color). How old or young your hair greys is really genetically determined. i.e. if your mother and father grey early then chances are you and your children will also.

because stress can cause the production of pigment to stop and I have to say I started having nervious break downs in the 5th grade and I'm only 18 and I have been to the psych ward no I'm not crazy but life is hard and stressfull as hell theses days

Often hereditary, but I think the increase may well have something to do with smoking and of course, stress is never hellpful either. So if you don't want grey hair before your time, don't smoke! Take care : )
