How do you make a kid brush their hair?

My sister hates brushing her hair. She wont even let me or my mom do it. Her hair has more tangles than the number of hairs on her head! Everytime we try to brush her hair, or we try to do it for her, she screams so loud and crys so that the neighbors can hear it. And once they even came over asking what the heck is going on. Please oh please someone help with this problem.

Maybe tell her that you will give her something... Its just depending on how old she is. Or maybe take her to get her hair cut and see if they can do it. or ask her if you can do her hair like a princess and brush it. Or tell her you ll give her money or something i hope this helps you! Promise her a prize or reward if she does it. I don't mean like a 10 dollar toy or anything, but maybe like 30 minutes staying up past bedtime, or a candy bar. It always worked for me when i was younger. She needs to brush her hair though, not to look attractive, but because if it gets enough knots you will have to cut it out. Try explaining that to her, I'm sure the hairbrush will be her best friend :)

you and your mom need to get together and brush each others hair. let her see you and your mom or any other females in the house brushing your hair and saying comments of how pretty each other's hair is and try different style. once see shes this, she will hopefully want to join in and get in the habit of grooming herself. once i was brushing my hair in the mirror and my niece came up beside me and started to pretend brushing her hair too. i always tell her she has pretty princess hair and now she wants to wear her hair down all the time :) try some things like that. they just might work! good luck! :)
