What should I do for my mother on her birthday??? I REALLY NEED THE HELP....BAD...can you please HEL

My moms birthday is the 26th and Im trying to find something really nice to do for her on this special day. As you get older the birthday fun sorta rushes to a hault. For her birthday my dad is going to take her out to lunch, but that seems pretty boring to me.

I want to either get her something OR do something for her that is totally original.

Please exclude ideas regarding:

1. Beauty (hair/nails/pedicutre) Certificate etc....

2. Watching kids while parents go out etc....

3. Sweet Poem etc (did this on mothers day)

Im just writing this to save time.

Info about us: Im 24 and she's turning 46. Altogether we have a decent relationship but I havent exactly been on her "GOOD" side these last few weeks. ANY HELP WOULD DO.........

You can also opt for ordering magazines/books (in case she is a avid reader)

How about gifting Music CDs (something what she enjoys - 1970- 1980 beats)

Gift her plants in case she has a green thumb

The least budgeted thing would be plant a tree and - tell her that you did it - it is an environmental cause as well as something that can be cherished for a long time
