What funny/gross quirk does your toddler have?

My son LOVES hair. He litterally flosses his teeth with it(EEEW!), will put fuzzies, including dust bunnies(again, EEW!) on his "sucking thumb" and suck his thumb, as if I didn't just see him do it. He loves when I shake my hair in his face. If a toy is HAIRY or very fuzzy, he will put it up to his cheek and start sucking his thumb.

He also loves "combing" his hair, playing with my kids' daddies beard and afro, and my dad's beard... SILLY kid. I hope he outgrows this, but it is still amusing...

How funny, my daughter LOVES hair too! I thought she was the only one, lol. She is 13 months old so she doesn't floss, but she finds little hairs and pieces of lint and holds them up to her mouth and makes a purring noise. She started pulling her own hair to hold it to her mouth so I bought her a stuffed My Little Pony that talks and has wild fuzzy hair and she loves to pull the hair out. She also loves fuzzy blankets. I am wondering if she will ever grow out of this habit, but for now it's quite funny. Toddlers do the strangest things.

When my son was about a year and a half, I found him trying to suck a snail out of its shell... when I took it away from him, he then licked all the slime off his hands, and loved every bit of it! YUK! I was retching for about two days after!

well when I was younger my cousin who is also younger then me. Use to suck her thumb and hold some of her hair while doing it.

My daughter has to smell Everything!!!! Everything goes right up to her nose. The other day she was smelling the trash and it was making her gag but she just couldn't help herself and kept smelling it. Finally I made her get away because she was going to vomit all over my floor!!!!

What funny/gross quirk does your toddler have?

My 2 year old daughter sucks her thumb so hard you can hear it very loudly. And while she sucks her thumb, she has to stick some sort of string up her nose. If she's desperate, any kind of string will do. I mean even a little piece of thread coming out of your shirt. But lucky we have blankies that have strings at the edges. She'll stick it up her nose and twirl it around and it relaxes her. She'll try to do it to other people too and let me tell you, it's so ticklish it drives me insane. I really don't understand how it relaxes her. Maybe it killed the nerves in her nose?

My daughter has a foot fettage. She started by smelling and biting her own toes. Then when she could crawl, she started smelling and biting other's toes too. She also loves to chew on shoes, which I don't let her of course. We all have to wear socks and I have to make sure everyone, even visitors, put their shoes in the closet so she can't chew on them. :)

My three year old son loves feet..... He will walk up to anyone (as long as he knows them) and take their bare foot, shove it up to his nose and stand there and smell it while sucking his finger.... I think is gross, but everyone seems to think it is hilarious. He likes to smell lots of wierd things. People are gonna think my son has some serious issues, but the other day he said "ew mommy corky stinky" (corky is our pug) and I said "what?" and when I looked to see what he was talking about, he stuck his nose to corky and sniffed his butt and said "stinky corky" lol...... Gross I know..... Tell me about it. This is my life everyday... :)

I have a two year old and when she gets mad someone or doesn't get her way, she will run out of the room and then run back in, jump up and down, growl at you, while baring her teeth. The first time she did it to me, it cracked me up. It was so funny.. I had to turn away so she wouldn't see me laughing at her. (it's funnier if you can visualize it) =)

No 1 - putting his own poo in various places like inside nannies brand new video recorder

No 2 - running around the garden with hands in knickers

No 3 - imaginary freinds like there was no tomorrow

No 4 - would hold their breath until they went blue - still would but it woud mean not talking for too long

No 5 - not sure really just a huge hippy child

I hoping the next one will be sane but living in this house is kinda not likely

my little girl is nearly three now and everything she smells she has to says smells a nice. She has also started to jump of things flapping her arms shouting tweet tweet. When she was a bit younger she used to fall asleep with her hand on my head and would never let go for hours at times lol

my nephew sucks his thumb while touching his eyelashes......my daughter likes biting her nails (i hate it when she does that).....to the extent that i don't have to cut them anymore.....my other nephew also chews his nails in fingers and....in toes (ewwww!!!!)

My 18 month old has a thing for toes! Especially ones with nail polish. When we are stood at the bus stop, there is a lady that wears sandals and he has to touch them. It really grosses me out because I am the opposite, I have a foot phobia. He has also learnt this and when he touches mummy's toes she make a screaming noise!

my granddaughter use to pull the fuss off her stuffed bear and stuff it up her nose she has a pacifier and we called it Binky. she went no were with out Binky and bear and if you left behind you turned around and went back to get it.. now my other granddaughter fall in love with my coat and she 10 and still has coatie. when i have not had time to spend time with her she tell me he wraps her self in coatie and say she can feel my hugs.

the next granddaughter can not sleep with out sucking on her mom silk P.J.s she is 6 and silky goes with her every were.

now my other granddaughter is in love with chocolate and she can smell it my daughter thought she would be smart and keep it on top of the ice box.. well i was there and hear something when i look in the kitchen there was my 1 1/2 yr old on top of the ice box. she had pulled a chair over and used the bread box and up she went.. she was enjoying that candy too.. she our money and get in to so much trouble
