I don't believe that I have enough evidence to believe or not believe their innocence. I think there are a lot of problems in the story -- such as leaving children alone when in a strange country. But I can't say they are guilty either -- I haven't seen all of the evidence.

It's hard to not think they had something to do with it in light of the evidence now surfacing. I am trying to just keep an open mind until charges are brought forth against them. I don't think they should have left their kids alone in their room while they partyed.

I am not really sure but I believe the McCanns are in the medical field. If this is so, no smart couple in the healthcare field would never have left a child under the age of ten unattended specially your own child in a foreign country. And the cough medicine theory seems very probable. How much of a dose puts a child to sleep? Did it have an adverse affect/allergic reaction causing the child to expire accidentally. Again, there is no good reason for a child to be left alone in a hotel room sleeping or not, and enough reason to suspect foul play.
