My kids told me this today!!! I was surprised - when did this become a rule???

I didn't see it posted at the door of the restaurant -you know

licensed to hold 85 patrons

no smoking

no nose or ear hair plucking!!!

What is going on??? Have my kids started making up their own rules??? where will it end???

Depends on where you are at. In some countries it is considered a compliment to the chef if you belch or fart. Maybe there is some wierd place where plucking unwanted body hair at the table is a compliment. You might want to try National Geographic.

It's a lot better than the person smacking their lips when they eat or the person the eats with their mouth open. Our kids came up with one too about scratching and staring.

Yet, our youngest son who is 11, sits there and does James Cagney impersonations.

Well, I can't recall seeing that posted anywhere either, but sometimes you just have to use some good ole' common sense. After all, if you can pluck nose and ear hairs at the table, then why not kick off them work boots, pull off those wet stinky socks, and clip your toenails while you're at it. Surely that'd be okay.
