Stop dyeing it. You should have known it would be dangerous anyways. No 2 years kid is that fashion conscious that they are concerned about the color of their hair.

Time for the child to have a complete blood test, the works. Check for any traces of chemicals, residuals, etc. Then go from there.

No offense or anything, but pouring smelly chemicals on his head never dawned on you as bad? And since you said "helped" I am guessing the mom is the other partner in this crime? Shame on her, this would highly rate as child abuse, neglect and lack of any motherly instincts. A court might even claim this as child abuse and remove the child from the mother.

that aside, i'd take have his mother take him to the pediatrician, explain the situation, and ask if there could possible be any damage done. he's probably fine, but just to be sure... and ease your mind.

Personally I think you very wrong to be dyeing the child's hair. At such an early age as 2 teaching him not to be happy with what nature gave him. He is a baby do not dye his hair. If when he's a teen or adult an able to understand. He wishes to change the color of his hair, well then it will be his choice not a crazy aunt's. You should be ashamed of yourself. No wonder some children grow up disliking themselves. They learned it from idiots who color their hair and teach them not to be happy with themselves. At an age that is not able to understand such things as to the whys...You should be worried. Now just stop coloring his hair and let him be himself.
